Sprint PCS Uploader

This uploader script is mainly for my own personal use, but it may well work for you, if you have a Sprint PCS phone which can accept uploads. If it does, you can use it to send yourself free (and presumably permanent) ringers, images, games, and screensavers.

If you find this all a bit confusing, click here for help. Also, please take a moment to disinterestedly skim the disclaimers at the bottom.

If the page appears to be hung after you've clicked the Upload button, please let me know via the email link over there on the left. Chances are that Sprint has changed their messaging server's URI, something they seem to enjoy doing from time to time.

I should note that this would have been a royal bitch without the efforts of one Tyler Akins, who wrote the original. All hail.

If you need a free midi editor, I suggest Anvil Studio. It's best to use an excerpt of about 30 seconds from the song, as it saves memory in your phone, and it probably won't be ringing for an entire song's length anyway.

Use of this script is 1000000000% at your own risk. If you break your phone somehow, please do not email me, as I will have no idea what to do about it.

I am of course not collecting phone numbers through this, but it's up to you to just trust me on that or not. I really don't like talking on the phone much, though, and am in fact not that fond of talking to people in general, so you really don't need to worry about it. In the interest of full disclosure, though, the IP address used to send content to a given phone number is accessible for up to a few days until the automatic cleanup process deletes it. If I wanted to go to a hell of a lot of trouble, I could probably get with your ISP and single out who sent a particular picture, so please keep that in mind before sending objectionable content to someone else's phone. That may even be illegal, I have no idea.

On the flip side, liquidfish.net is not responsible for any content sent through this website, anymore than Sprint PCS is responsible for prank phone calls made through their service.

What I'm getting at is, please don't use this to send stuff to anyone else's phone.
