Revolution Block was the name of a band I was in for about three years, starting in the late summer/early fall of '93. We put out one CD, shared stages with the likes of Superdrag, Mutha's Day Out, and The Urge, and just generally had a good time. Perhaps it was my fifteen minutes of fame, perhaps that's yet to come; time will tell. In retrospect, I think the falling apart of the band was my fault, due to a temporary lack of interest I had, which proved fatally contagious. If we had stayed together, I think we could have gone all the way, but I guess we'll never know. ;) I haven't spoken with any of the other band members in over a year, but last I heard, Dan was playing drums for a band based out of Athens, GA, called Deacon Brody, Bucco was playing bass for a funk/hip-hop band in Knoxville called L.I.F.E. (Living In a F*cked-up Environment), Chris was working as an engineer for a large company in Arizona, and Jared was eating pizza somewhere. All of which is probably more than I've accomplished. |
