Another Pointless Quizzy Thing

I thieved this from Welfare Queen while she was thieving it from Waveflux when he wasn't looking.

Three things I've done today

Went to a funeral
Played the original Doom
Wrote a bubble-sorting algorithm

Three things on my desk

The World is Flat: A Brief History of the Twenty-first Century, by Thomas L. Friedman
12 gigs worth of samples and sound effects, on CD-R.
A lopsided stack of 21 pennies

Three people I've thought about today

My parents, but particularly my dad
Chris Bertelsen
Your mom

Two truths and a lie (and you guess which is which)

In high school, I was on a Model UN team.
I once owned part of Shakespeare's childhood home.
I set up the drum set for a Bon Jovi concert.

Three books I'm reading

The World is Flat: A Brief History of the Twenty-first Century, by Thomas L. Friedman
Tales, H.P. Lovecraft
(sorry, I'm only reading two books right now)

Three places I've been

Winchester Cathedral
The Alamo
Big Lots

Three places I'm going

Italy
Tibet
Crazy

Have you been in the basement of The Alamo?

I will guess that the Bon Jovi drum set thing is the lie. Model UN kicks ass, so I hope that is not the lie.

The Friedman book is in my waiting-to-be-read pile.

Holley: No, not the basement. :p I'm afraid the Model UN was the lie...I did try out, but did not get accepted to the team. At least I have the Bon Jovi thing going for me.

Josh: PHP, and F your standard, right in the A, buddy. I'm all about the homegrown.

mmm... homegrown bubble sort...

I did Model UN in college, but, then again, they let pretty much anybody in at my school. :)

This is OT, but a million years ago you left a comment over at WQ about you and the Mighty D going to the upcoming Aquabats show at Pop's. I might be up for that one. If yer still going, shoot me some email: stgermh at gmail dot com.

Are you and D. going to join me for drinks when I come out there in October?
